Foreword
For the past 10 years, I worked and cooperate with lots of company. Most of the company that I worked with was always in the startup line of operation or in the startup of awareness growth. These tagline has been the most crucial part for every new company to undergo the process of growth organically.
With many company nowadays chasing the clients due to massive major change in the world of internet. If we take a look back for the past 10 years, clients chasing the company. Now, the cycle turned. Companies chasing the clients.
Why? This is the because of awareness traffic in the internet. Mobiles phone. Mobiles apps. Laptop. All is equal to traffic. The things that I want to conclude is market segment of traffics in the online marketing. Online shopping.
Online Marketing is wide. Some of companies want to be known wide which will put more costing towards its. By the triangle of awareness,
1% is the customer that already ready to buy which not every company focus. 1% is so big to the business segment of industry itself.
Most of them always tried to run before willing to walk and catch others audiences that trying to learn product and services that which of them are into category of
60% not aware of their problem PLUS with another
20% that aware of their problem or their needs. Thus, it takes times to develop the bonding by educate customer in order to born the trust process while on the other side customer with 1% is waiting and willing to buy.
To stay constant and consistent in the market is crucial. Traffic that successfully landing into sales must be in repetitive loops or else people will no longer see it as relevant to repeat order. Trafficking and to go viral is trend. It comes and go. This is what I have learn towards companies that I have worked with. Most of them ended up to spend more ads or cost in order to get lots of traffic attention.
What I have learned during my past experiences working with lots of startup companies is that they lack of
ecosystem.
Ecosystem is what makes customer comes back to us to repeat order. When company do not have a very good ecosystem towards their product or service to loops the relevant targeted audiences, people do not have relevant reason to their product or service anymore, in context for the needs and wants. Most of customer will find another store or go to our next competitor.
For customer, this is easy.
One click of a button and its done.
It is their choice. YES.
But on our side, what choice do we have?
Just to win the heart of customer.
That is the only choice.
Losing customer is serious problem. They can leave a bad rating towards our google business and our platform. To put it more worst, it permanent. Losing 1 star of rating is enough to kill 5 stars of rating. Most company did not aware and take it for granted. For me, anything that related to google tools or rating series is serious. Bad comment, bad rating can contribute the domino effect. Negativity can spread faster than positive thought towards modern internet condemn society, keyboard warrior and cyber bully. This can kills your business online faster rather than you can kill your own competitor in the first place. Agree with me?
Now, read the statement below me.
Before customer go to our store, customer will check for these criteria online. These are the formula that I summarize upon my experience of working. Those are:
1. Comparison
2. Compilation
3. Suggestion/Review
4. Evaluation
In internet marketing, trust is the foundation of sales. Good rating can leads good positive review and can brings more prospects and customers.
Thus, making a bonds towards customer that have already purchase our item is vital. Bonding makes customer come back to the product or service. I have been once in company that selling foods product. Most of customer said their food
was not delicious towards their local delicacies. But, customers went to repeat their order due to their friendly customer service! How did I know? The customer report to me since I was in customer front liner for the company system!
To predict the madness of the market is crazy.
The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.
I always ask any company these question:
1. Why they need your product & service
2. Who is your targeted audiences
3. What are you selling
4. When is the right time to launch the campaign
Mostly companies ended up doing in reverse. Mostly companies ended up with no sense of humor to their audiences. Too robotics. Too schema. These attraction will attract the null audiences into their source of data. It suppose to have to be done naturally. Emotionally. Entertaining. Fun. Happy and most importantly to be human. Customer make their decision not based on logic but emotion.
Human is an emotional being.
This is why I ended up being a digital marketing frontier. For me, it is fun and passionate things to do. Selling and make online business is zen for me. It is an art. Experience in lots of startup companies has taught me the biggest constraint in every company facing and the problem occurred towards one to two years of development growth..
Experience in lots of industries help me know lots of founder. All are the same players and playing the same gameplay in industry. For me, contacts is the most important aspect in business. World of business is like living in the wheels.
Some day you loss, some day you win. One day you at the bottom, the next day you at the top. Sometimes at the moment, we work with our competitor and ditch our allies. This is just the game of business. Nothing is permanent.
That is why I trust the process and call this journey. All business has its own template. The template for copy and paste into another business. Business is the work that has been in the loops for over 1,400 years back. Every successful business did this cycle. I call it ecosystem.
To end my foreword,
company is like a child.
Raise a company is like raise our own child.
Thus, it need process and lots of patience.
