What does Algorithmic trader do?
Algorithmic trading is a process for executing orders utilizing automated and pre-programmed trading instructions to account for variables such as price, timing, and volume. An algorithm is a set of directions for solving a problem.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Developing, testing and documenting algorithms to price and hedge corporate bonds
• Work with Chie Algorithmic Traders to assist and learn all facets of automated trading -Develop expertise in market microstructure, tick data, and automated trading systems -Build and maintain trading quantitative model tools and analytics -Develop, code, maintain and support production quality automated trading strategies

• Maintain the algorithm suite, monitor the trading flow during the trading session

• Focus on stability and capacity, diagnose trading issues, enhance the strategy suite

• TCA / Performance analysis

-Test, certify, and roll out new algo versions, engage with IT to deliver supporting technology

- Use TCA to track performance and suggest trading methodology changes

- Produce research papers stemming from the product or microstructure changes

• Design and implement algorithmic trading strategies
• Managing intraday performance and risk of existing algorithms
• Enhancing existing infrastructure and algorithms
• Developing and maintaining tools to inform hedging and trading decisions
• Liaising regularly with traders to understand their requirements
• Analyzing potentially large data sets to understand and predict market and client behaviors
• Experience of automated market making in traded markets
• Evidence of working in a team to build a portfolio of algorithmic strategies
• Direct experience of building a testing framework for algorithmic execution, including performing testing schedule for trading strategies
• Ability to extract, manipulate and analyse large datasets relevant to algorithimic execution

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Physics, Engineering, Science, Economic, Finance.
• Proficient in languages C#, C++, Phyton, R and last but not least Java.

• Experience in Trading/Banking/Institution industry will be added advantages
• Speak English fluently due to clients communication nature

• 5 years experiences is a must
• Web designing in wordpress basic will be strong plus point.
• Required skill (s): C#, C++, Phyton, R, Java
• Required Language (s): English. Arabic will be bonus advantages.
